Sweet Reminders

My friends and I were chatting the other day in our Bible study and the concept of daily affirmations popped up. The counselor in me knows how beneficial daily affirmations can be for people. Daily affirmations help make you aware of your thoughts, start your day on a positive note, help relieve stress, and help keep you in a state of gratitude.

Daily Affirmations can look like this:

· I have people who love me

· I am enough

· I am choosing kindness and compassion

· I am growing through this season

· I am stronger than I think

What we also talked about with my girlies was how God views us. I like to call these sweet reminders. They look a little like this:

· I am loved by God (Isaiah 54:10)

· I am valuable for far more than my outer appearance

· I am light (Matthew 5:14)

· I have purpose

· I am His masterpiece (Ephesians 2:10)

Daily affirmations, or sweet and simple reminders, can look different for everyone. Even so, they are powerful and refreshing. A morning affirmation can go a long way.
